Isabella Bulnes - Flutist

As an avid performer of new music Isabella has been a guest artist in multiple contemporary and jazz premieres. Isabella regularly performs with Pigbutchering, a contemporary ensemble that performs fully composed, partially written, and improvised works. Using the medium of sound and time to evoke the full range of feelings that occur during the modern era. She studied under the tutelage of Dr. Cobus DuToit at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Where she was the winner of the 2020 concerto competition and was praised for "having the highest levels of musicality". Isabella currently resides in Troy NY, and offers private flute lessons to students of any age/level within the capitol region.
